I'll hold you close, my dear, And sing a lullaby in your ear.
She ran across the sand. A fiery gallop; her body ripping like the water that crashed against the rocks. Her hoofs kicked up the golden grains of sand, contrasting against her ivory pelt. The water rose up to wash away the traces of her arrival, as the yellow ball in the sky started to sink into the black.
A twist of fate that brought her here. Coming from a land, far, Simple had travelled to this place. A loner, bound to no clan. She had arrived in a land of judgement, where one wrong move could send you to hell. She shook her head and let out a large sigh at the thought. The lights and darks were the worst. So strict with their children, it was no surprise to Simple that they would run away. Yet, the land here was so beautiful. Even if they did run away, she didn't expect they would leave the land. She had watched the sunsets every night since she had arrived here, they seemed to get better each night. Including this one, by the sea.
Simple and Clean, Simple as many knew her by, gave a nod of her head at the everyday radiance of the dieing sun. To die, to be reborn, a never-ending cycle. Her gallop soon flowed into a gentle trot, then a walk as she slowed at the beach. "It's beautiful," She remarked, turning her body to face the horizon. She walked towards the water; and let it wash over her hooves and fur. Giving out another sigh, she let her legs fall out underneath her and moved down to a lying position, water beating against her side.
(Not my best... but I'm supa rusty.)
