Plot/Intro:
What meaning is time when legends live on in the hearts of those who remember, in those who recall with great earnest of times long past. What are years and decades when the reverie left dancing in the darkness of your mind seems as fresh and pungent as merely yesterday? Some speak of fairy tales as if mere children’s amusement, a lullaby in which to drift off into sweet slumber. But alas I recall a fantasy of yesteryear, a dream so real I can touch it, mold it in my hands and smell it lingering upon the air. I remember the tales of a stallion, black as night, mysterious as those dreams dwindling upon the conscious just out of your reach. In his eyes burned the fires of another realm, windows to a soul that seemed to have lived for eons. And indeed that soul was one as no other, for it danced upon the fine line the tore this world in two, a firefly drifting through the light and the darkness, ever shifting as if an apparition. And perhaps that is what he was, this shadow of Reykjavik, the first beast to lay foot here so very long ago. He had seen the passing of years from his icy mountain home, a witch king who had lived and bled for these lands. This place, this air, the very water that rushed like blood through the veins of the earth was a part of him and of his children, and of each and every member of the herds whom now blossomed here, and forever it would be. So alas, it had returned, awakened by the stirring of the world, like slumbering gods turned to stone to weather the ages until the world was once more given breath in which to live. This world of shadow and light had been forced to retreat into hibernation, and yet now here it stood, a new fire, a new passion hung about the air, igniting the atmosphere with a touch of ancient magick that burned like a cold flame. Come and join us my friends, take our hands and help us to write another chapter in a legend that has lived since 2003. Reykjavik is a semi realistic equine game for any range of roleplayer looking to have a good time and make some good friends
