Set outside of the fictional town of Wellington, South Carolina, one of the most prominent riding academies in the country is in full operation. Owned by the two daughters of Olympic champion Davis Lockett and managed by international clinician Tamantha McTavish, the riders here are receiving some of the best instruction in the world. From first time riders to advanced equestrians, all of the academy’s students enjoy the privileges of world-class trainers, talented school horses (or state of the art stalls, for boarders), a fully stocked tack shop, several riding arenas, and frequent events such as shows, clinics, trail rides, and luncheons. Their competing riders rank among the best in the country and even in the world. Those who enter the training program achieve the ability to excel in whatever disciplines they should choose. Welcome to Wellington Hills Riding Academy. Welcome to the big time.
But Wellington Hills isn’t just all work and no play. Those who do not wish to train can simply board their horses and receive full access to Wellington riding facilities. And for the competitors who aren’t serious all the time, they can participate in activities like scavenger hunts, trail rides, horse-and-rider bonding clinics, parties, and secret societies.
Plus, Wellington Hills is part of an upcoming program that lets different riding academies on the web interact with each other as they would in real life. There are interacademic horse shows, horse dealers where you can buy your perfect mount, tons of clinics, and more affairs to participate in, where you can make friends- or enemies- from rival riding schools.
And now is your chance to get in and stand out. Wellington Hills is waiting for you. Are you coming?
Welcome to Wellington.
